Glitter. Sequins. Sparkle.
Whoever started this seasonal trend, I am grateful to you (I’m even sporting glitter nail polish and a sequins shirt as I’m typing this). And it’s so fitting with the new year right around the corner.
It’s easy to understand where the inspiration derived from: the way fresh snow (or in my case, light morning frost) catches our eyes as the morning rays bounce playfully around. But it’s so delicate and fragile looking, which makes it perfect for fashion and how we even spice up our household decorations.
Glitter, sequins, and sparkle add the perfect touch when used correctly. Too much is too much, just as most things tend to be. But this trend has been executed so exquisitely; I hope it follows us into the new year.
Here’s to fashion, here’s to fun, here’s to a new year!
P.S. If you want the DIY info on the glitter table setting, find it here!
